Julie Heraghty (Secretary), B.A Dip Ed (Appointed October 2004)
Julie Heraghty is the Chief Executive Officer of the Macular Degeneration Foundation. She spent over seven years as a Policy Advisor to NSW State Ministers across three major portfolios.
Her career began as a secondary school teacher and later qualified as a registered psychologist working in schools with students, teachers and parents.
Julie has served as a Director and Manager in major Government Departments across Education and Training, Fair Trading; and Infrastructure, Planning and Natural Resources.
